Not unusual for Arizona this time of year, I used to live in Yuma,AZ and the normal summer temps were 116-120. Now I live in Texas where it only gets to 105.

Was doing machine embroidery on a crazy quilt block today and all of a sudden the bobbin thread was pulling to the top and made a big mess. After changing needle, rethreading, taking machine apart to clean out little bits of thread it is running again but that block will need to be done again. Another three or four hours of embroidery! Oh well, all in a days work. Things such as this happen to us all.

I have learned, if it don't want to go right, it just won't go right and call it a day! Yep! Some days sewing goes smoothly and some days not!

1st time I did a pinwheel, I laid out the block on the table where my sewing machine is, I would pick up two pieces, turn to the sewing machine, then look 2 or 3 times, and STILL had to pick out a good quarter of the seams because I kept sewing the wrong edges together. Next time, I will use the idea here of pinning that nasty seam where it lies!

You're a lady after my own heart - l LOVE those crumb blocks - or in my case trash quilt. No matter how hard you try, you can't make a mistake on them.
