    OK, here is the finished quilt top - and thank you everyone for expressing your opinion and helping me figure this out.

    Is it black or purple??

    Definately a dark inner border in Deep Purple or Black. I love your quilt what's it's name?

    Just saw the finsihed top...Love the purple border :thumbup:

    The name of the quilt pattern is Radiant Suns...and I went with the dark purple inner border, but it is so dark that it almost looks black!

    I think a very dark purple border,rather than introducing a new color altogether.
