Do you tilt your machine?

Hey -- thanks for the tip -- I shall get some next time I go to town

At the dollar store they sell the spongy rubber kitchen cabinet liner in a roll. Put that under your machine and it won't slide around. I have a piece under all my machines, even my serger, and I have a piece on the floor with my foot pedal on it - keeps my pedal from "walking" across the floor too.

I purchased the tilt table from Nancy's Notions several years ago and can't imagine sewing without it. The only problem I have is that I also have the slide on acrilic extension and it makes it slippery so that sometimes items that are not yet under the presser foot slide off the machine. The extension has adjustable legs all the way around so I can make it higher in the back to go along with the tilt table.
