Thanks everyone for your welcomes - I am finding my feet on here gradually and am loving it.
I live in Northampton which is about half way between London and Birmingham

Oh I am only joking with you Kate! I obviously spend too much time here tee hee! That's the risk of course, you may learn and be inspired here when you start looking around, then before you know it, you are hooked and you hardly get any sewing done at all!! :-D :roll: :lol:

Ive been doing a LOT of paper piecing in the evening and not getting on the laptop quite so much but am catching up with quilts I found during a clear out that I started 13 years ago - my 23 year old son no longer wants the quilt I started for him when he was 10 and have started to finish off again now!!!!! - I wonder why!

Haha...blimey you take your time tee hee! Hmmm I am trying to remember what my 24 year old youngest son was into aged 10....so what style is the quilt? I am sure someone will love it when you get it finished up, or maybe put it away for when he has a son of his own!
