    looks like F & N N to me, like it was made by Flora and Nancy Noonan. maybe sisters. Or, made as a wedding gift for Flora and Nicholas Noonan. also, i think the flower covers the connection where the parts of the F cross.

    does that sound possible?

    Nc is a corruption of the more proper Mc, so if the name was switched in immigration it would have been from Mc TO Nc

    someone mentioned the possibility of the last name being center.

    THAT sounds interesting to me. so It would be a name N J Nc?

    hmmmm :D this is fun isnt it? :D
