CRS is an expression my sister uses all the time! Have not heard anyone else ever use it! LOVE IT!

    St. Anthony St Anthony,
    Please come around.
    Something is lost,
    and must be found.
YEP, I stood in front of the closet, remember/visualize looking and holding bag.... yes...........then everything goes BLANK  Do not remember moving.

CRS - Can't Remember Something/Sh*t ~ your choice or feelings at the time. ;-)

Now this weekend, a quilting buddy stops by and in our visit, I mentioned the fabric and go to get it to show her and get her opinion as to whether or not it would work. HMMMMM not in closet! Did I move it to my sewing room? CRS! All weekend I'm trying to remember. SEARCH closet, SEARCH sewing room, multiple times! . . . wander through house trying to find it. Where is it?

Now I know there must be a quilters BLACK-HOLE! The same quilting buddy had a pattern that she pattern that she had purchased years ago- disappear into that hole. And now my bag of fabric. :?:

Is there a BLACK-HOLE at your house?
Yes there is. And I have been trying to find it, but it keeps moving around in the house. Sometimes in the kitchen with the peeler or kitchen shears, next in the laundry room with the color catchers that I can't wash my fabrics without. Then in the bathroom with one of my lotions or makeups, earrings are another favorite. Last but not least---scissors! It has had at least one pair of scissors for quite sometime.
I keep yelling at it to give them all back- and like the commercial- "and I want it now!"
    Alas, hasn't worked yet.

I always blame the "COBs" they seem to be a busy bunch but no matter how many times I sweep the ceiling theres never anything in their webs so they must take stuff back to their head quarters for a giant Flea Market

I don't have a black hole. I have a ghost. I "lost" my 1"X6" ruler from my upstairs sewing room. It re-appeared months later in the silverware drawer in my downstairs kitchen which I am in every single day. I have no kids, no pets, and my partner avoids my sewing room like the plague. It's the ghost. The same one that turns on lights downstairs when I am alone in the house. It's the ghost.

Yip lose things all the time, but they always turn up in a day or two except one thing. I have a regular book with quilting designs, nothing out of the ordinary except it is a odd size wider than it's long. I swear I have lost that book more times, I find it then it disappears for a month or two. I think there is a gremlin that really likes my book.

So frustrating!!! I feel your pain...I'm always saying that I spend more time looking for something than I spend being productive. So afraid "Old Age" has crept up on me. hehe
