    what a creative way to display it and how appropriate that it is with the family portraits. this is one of my bucket list quilts. hmm, perhaps i'll start one this summer. that would be a good traveling work project.

    Your grandmother's quilt is beautiful. I cherish the things we have passed to us from our loved ones. I have never seen a hanger like that, but it is beautiful how it hangs like a long gown, and yes it is like displaying a wedding gown. Thank you for sharing a family treasure with us.

    Beautiful and lots of work, please be sure to turn your quilt with the other end in the bow at least every 3 months so your batting will not settle to one end. Such a nice thing to have.
