My condolences and prayers to help with the healing. I know the feeling too well. I love your log cabin and the colors you have chosen. Log cabins are my most favorite of quilt patterns.

When you need some comfort just wrap yourself in John's quilt and he will be there for you. Thank you for sharing the story of the quilt and please come and visit here often, you'll always find someone to 'talk' to. May in Jersey

PS: It's such a great looking quilt. Can you share with us the size of the blocks, width of the strips in the block and how you added the red stars in the corners?

The pattern is Log Cabin Hidden Stars from the book Jelly Roll Quilts. The bocks are 14 inches and I there are 16. I gave the quilt to our son. He cried when I gave it to him. Thanks to all of you for your kind comments.
