Thanks Sally. That is exactly how I felt about it. I still consider myself a newbie at all things quilting and I've done seven already. There are so many techniques to master; I think I'll be a newbie forever. I too, do lots of research. There is no better way to learn something than to just jump in. Thanks again.

Thanks jamsbuying. I think I might be on my way. This quilting journey is so much more exciting than I ever dreamed. I love it. I will be a quilter forever.

Thanks Wanabee Quiltin. This pattern really gave me fits, but I like how it came together finally. Give it a try, and don't forget to post pics.

Thanks--I'm anxious to try another project. I didn't like the pattern while I was doing it, but when it came together, it was quite satisfying.

Thanks Twinkie. I have a long way to go to be where I want to be, but at least I'm on the road. I love everything about quilting.

Coming from a pro, and practically a neighbor for that matter, I'm really flattered. I visited your website--wow! Long arm quilting just blows me away. I'm sad that I don't have the money or the space for such an endeavor, so this will have to be the next best thing. I have a long way to go--I know that. But the journey is just as fun as actually reaching the destination. I can't wait to start the next project. :-)
