    Beautiful quilt! And I really like the label. I like how it's in the corner & the font is so pretty. Did you embroider it or print it out with a fabric marker?

    I've heard some folks talk about not liking Civil War fabrics but look at how beautiful they are when made up into a lovely traditional quilt like this. You are a bad influence because I"m off to start my Civil War fabric collection...and my stash is already bulging into the sewing room!! This is just lovely!!

    Be sure you heat set it with the iron before washing!

    Bad, bad me... ) The Civil War fabrics can be kind of drab, but for certain traditional patterns they can work well. I don't usually like traditional quilt patterns, being drawn more to modern quilting, but lately I've been doing a few trads in my own, updated way. That's fun.
