    OMG, I know that quilt is not easy, because I made one several years ago. Mine is here - http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...ar-t23517.html. I paper pieced the snail's trail blocks, the only way I could get them to work out right. And the points do not match at all! (I bit off more than I could chew with that pattern, at that stage in my quilting, but I still love the quilt.) I can't even imagine doing a smaller version! Yours is beautiful, and I love the magenta. My favorite color was burnt sienna, partly because I liked the name, and I still favor browns and oranges, especially with green. Funny how our childhood likes stay with us...

    It's beautiful! I LOVED my box of 64 because of the color names: yes, magenta; but, "burnt sienna" and "periwinkle" and "cornflower"...what's not to like about that!

    If I did that much detail in 18 1/4" I'd need a shrink! Very nice.
