wow!! all of your projects all look so nice. You are all so talented and ambitious I am in the middle making table runners, mug rugs and such and I am a little disappointed as I don't feel like they are turning out as well I as hoped. I am taking a break and will start on a couple of quilts for kids tomorrow then I will move to autumn/Thanksgiving table runners. Maybe I will like those better.

It is a pillow. From an older book called Pink Lemonade. I have a friend who is seriously ill & I thought it might bring her some cheer. It is an odd shaped pillow casing so I made a closed pillow with the stuffing so it could be washed with the stuffing escaping!

I'm trying to wait patiently on my Boom 16 blocks to arrive next month, so I made the pillow & now I have a graduate quilt to work on. 11 grands creates a need for many quilts & they all seem to remember who got the last one!

Ok--love to see all your work s figured I needed to struggle with posting a picture and show you the quilt I delivered to a client on Friday. She made the top for her g-daughter (but says the DD may dibs it!) and so wanted more "modern quilting" hope this posts!

Oh my goodness... the pictures y'all are posting are great! So many fabulous quilts and projects. Meyert, so much Halloween! You have some really FUN fabrics in those! I don't see why you would be disappointed in those great pieces.

Here are the two quilts I picked up from the longarmer today. Both have been previously shown as tops.... She did a wonderful job quilting them, tho it doesn't show up that well with my camera flash. These will be given to two men in the hospital, to lift their spirits and let them know they are not forgotten. The red/white/blue one is appropriate for this Memorial Day weekend!

Both of these are Quiltville designs: "Fourth of July", and "Mountain Majesties".

They are trimmed but not bound yet.

Ok Lynnie, I did delete a bunch of messages.... I don't sell those socks because the yarn costs $15-20 per pair, and then it takes 30 hours of knitting to make a pair. The price would have to be astronomical! I really don't knit nearly as much as I used to (before the quilting obsession). That pair has been in the works for over a year.

I'm so pleased you like them... do you knit? Socks are mostly just plain knitting. All but the heel and toe.

Went to see "Alice Through the Looking Glass" yesterday afternoon/evening and so today has been dedicated to sewing. I started to work on a pillow case but the 2 quilts were taking up space, so decided to quilt the Dumbo panel today. When that was done it was 8 pm so thought I best eat some dinner and do the binding tomorrow. The other quilt has the binding on it, but needs to be hand stitched down on the back. I used black for the binding on the quilt and I had forgotten how hard it is to see. Which seems odd, but it gives me fits so I will hold off until tomorrow. Also, I have learned not to cut after 9 pm, even if I don't feel tired. It is usually after I make the errors that I realize how tired I am. Adrenaline keeps me sewing but then I start making mistakes. I miss those days I could sew long into the night.
