I am going to push pause on this next step, week 5. I am really short on one of my fabrics and will wait until I see the layout to decide whether to go one color way or another to finish the border.

    Pet, you are flying! Congratulations!

So I'm reviewing wk 5 and trying to decide whether to use the white on cream or the green. My method is just to size and doesn't require triming. So I'd be cutting strips of 2.5 inches and would need 2 strips. I'd like to have more green in the top. Does wk 6 use the gold (my green) fabric?
Week 6 is the reveal, so there will be no more cutting. (Unless you are holding off to make a larger quilt.) I would use the green for the border.

I'm doing good. I'm going through my scraps and cutting them into usable sizes. Mostly 2.5" pieces. I have enough 2.5" pieces to make a second Queen size quilt. I didn't realize how full my scrap bin was. I have one of those popcorn tins that you get for Christmas overflowing.

OK, a question for you. Week 6 is almost here. Would you like the block this week and the finished top next week, or both block anod top at once?

Just the block this week and I'll have a chance to catch up.

Both on Friday would be my choice but I will be happy either way.

I prefer both block and top. Since I'm working 2 colorways. That gives me time to do both quilts.
