No, but that not a bad idea , mint or regular, (you knew I would go there . ;)

Did one a while back where the tacks were hidden between the folds, think floss would work real well with that!! :)

I have used yarn and embroidery floss. Either one is good. Also twisted yarns that are for crewel are strong and come in a variety of colors. Watch at garage sales or craft sales at church and use whatever suits your fancy!

Like cotton threads, one out there that is really thick, or all strands of embroidery thread, sharp darning needle, and a pair of sm plyers, pinned to the carpet, :) or on a hanging frame, not as painful as the carpet. (that would be on my tush)
Whatever works for you is quilting !!! No QP :)
Use anything and a good square knot!

I guess I disagree. My mom embroidered a baby quilt for my son's first baby, It had baby animals and now I lay me down to sleep and angles. It was very nice she had it LAQed. It was very special. She makes a ton of baby quilts but usually not so personal and special. He wrote her a thank you and said he loved it because she made it but he would sooner have had one of the "real quilts" like she gave his friend. I laughted and sent him a "real quilt"!!

I tied one. It was a king size bed quilt made out of tapestry material. That worked out great!
