Always an issue for me, and add lots of kids, homeschooling, and now taking are of my grand baby while her Mommy works...the worst gets done, a bit at time, eventually, sort of!

I totally enjoyed this thread. That is why I now live alone. I can ignore the house if I want and quilt for 3 days in a row and nobody around to complain!!! You go girls!!

Ho I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that feels this way.
We are retired and Husband will vacumn maybe once a month and take the dishes out of the dishwasher about the same amount. I'm so tired of doing everything around here.
He just wanted to know when I was going to go outside and help him trim the one train layout and help get the weeds out of the other one.
It really makes me mad I can't get any help in the house but he wants help outside.
I guess you can't win and at this point I'm to tired to care. kjym Kathy

Sew first and clean when you don't have anything to sew on!

Well, If I lived alone I would definatly rather quilt, but since I am still blessed to have my DH, I owe it to him to keep the house picked up mostly. He helps me a lot.

Which would you choose: Clean the house or sew the quilt?
I have a little framed cross stitched thingy...It says , Quilting forever, Housework whenever...I kinda live by that. Although I have been really cleaning. Having company from up north this weekend.
