Thanks. The placement of the log cabin blocks is a pattern called stained glass. I saw it in an Eleanor Burns book called "Quilt in a Day." Actually, the book shows so many interesting layouts for log cabin quilts that I had a hard time choosing! The border I just made up.

Thanks. I am going to look that up. This is a BIG help to me. Now, since I already have the material and it will most likely take me a year to do a King Size, I know I can do the moritorium on not buying any material for one year. Wish me luck. Thanks again.
