Wow they are all so pretty. You did a great job!
Wouldn't it be neat to see a whole tree full of them?

Oh those are so beautiful! They bring back special memories. LOVE them!

I have one that was made for me by my now deceased great-aunt about 25 years ago and I cherish it.

thanks for posting the photos

I have been making these ornaments for several years now.. They are so beautiful. I add some beads, sequins, stones, etc. to the points of the star. I have 3 grands and make a new one for each one every year.. I have embroidered their name and the year on a tag, and I hang a tag on the bottom of each ornament I make.. I hope to keep making them for years.. That way, when they are grown they will each have their own tree of quilted ornaments made by their grandma.. (don't tell, but I make them in spurts.. then choose one and put their name tag on and present it at Thanksgiving! I have perhaps 20 or so waiting in a box... shhh...)

Sooo pretty! I have a good friend that has a fabric and craft store locally here. She gives me discounts on fabric all the time. She taught me how to do these ornaments. On nights when I don't feel well and I am filled with anxiety. I sit down and just make a few of these. Takes my mind off things and people just love them as gifts...thank you for sharing. Blessings and Merry Christmas
