It's my grandson, and it's a surprise. I had picked the teal color because that's the color of his 2010 mustang he purchased. Believe me it's a whole lot of that color. hahaha

Unsure what are their colors, they live out of state so not sure what they will be having in their home. I think the white will be conservative and put a purple outer border.

I'm no help because I like both the purple and the white. :lol:

I think I like the white because in the past it would have been more traditional so with this being a gift for a young couple, the purple might be best.

I like the white, it's classic, especially for a bridal quilt. I like your idea of pulling in color for the border.

No sashing between the blocks and use the purple, yellow and white in the border, light to dark. just my opinion. But beautiful blocks
