Do you know if you can still get the pattern? I know it would take a while but it would be worth it. I just love this quilt.[/quote]

Go to the Buggy Barn website and contact them. I think you can get it from them.
If not, look at my pictures. I think you can figure it out. It is made with 2 1/2-inch squares and squares made from two half-square triangles that make 2 1/2-inch squares. (The finished squares will measure 2-in. after they are sewn into the blocks.)

So you just needs stacks of these two kinds of squares that you lay out and sew into 8 rows of 8 squares. (The trick is getting all the half-square-triangle squares turned the correct way!)

Thanks! Yes, I'm such a traditionalist when it comes to quilts. I love hand quilting and have done it since I was a kid. My grandmother and mother taught me. Grandma did custom quilting until she died and now my mother and I carry on the tradition.

If anyone makes a quilt using this pattern, please post you're pictures. I'd love to see this pattern done with other colors.

I'd like to try it sometime with some of the smaller pieces combined into larger pieces (like a single square for the very middle of the block and some flying geese pieces throughout the block). Maybe I'd just use three different fabrics for a non-scrappy block.

I have this pattern in the Buggy Barn book named "Around The Bend" (I think that's what it's named!)

I also found this listing today on eBay if anybody is interested in getting it there. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=300288151879
