I've never made a quilt with solids.

I use BOTH in my quilts, to me it helps make it uniform and sometimes stands out better.

This question popped into my head last week when I was waiting in line for the cutting table at Joanne's. They are moving stores, so had a 75% off closeout. The lady behind me had tons of solids, I had tons of patterns. Needless to say, she "inspired" me to go get some colors (at $1.25 a yard, who can say no??)
I can't wait to read your responses!

I'm a solids addict! I can't remember the last project I made that didn't have at least one solid in it. I love the calm place for the eye to rest that a solid offers.

The Kona color card I have is for the Kona cotton by Robert Kaufman fabrics. They're the only solids I buy anymore. The quality is just so nice for the price.
