Supper was awesome. Salsa Chicken.
recipe:
1 serving chicken (breast, etc.) for each person
1 package chicken taco seasoning
1 cup salsa (hot or mild, your choice)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Place all in crockpot, cook for 6 hours on low.
Add up to 1 cup sour cream.
Serve over rice with green veggie.
Great supper! And easy!

I've been feeling bummed because of my weight gain from those darn steroids. Well I stepped on the scale tonight and I have a 3lb. loss. That means I lost 3 of the 9 I put on. YAY! Hopefully this will continue.

MJ I am so glad that you are feeling better. Guess what? It looks like my DH will have April 27th off so I can go to Paducah by myself and hang out with you and your hubby all day. :-)

The extra calories are why I added the words "up to 1 cup of sour cream".
I don't think it even needs the sour cream, but my dh loves it. He doesn't gain weight at all. You could definitely get by with just a small fat free dollop on top of the chicken.
Carrie,
I am still set to "go". We will know more as we get closer to the date, plus, I still have to get "doctor approval" to travel that far.
Still working on the final borders of the baby quilt. Went to bed and woke up thinking about it.
IF I get off the computer tonight, I will try to finish it.
Going to Memphis tomorrow, my Mama will be 83 on Friday. Since DH works weekends (incl Fri) we will celebrate tomorrow. I'm taking her 5 yards of a burgandy floral (her fav color), 9 yards of a mauve blender (for front and back), 2 yards of a green vine, and a WoW for accent. (4 yards) Plus a queen size batt.
The blessing is I taught her to quilt 3 years ago for therapy for her broken wrist, now she and I have wonderful days together planning and sewing.
