I am home from the hospital! Yay! Feeling much better too. I was admitted Monday for colitis caused by C Dif ! Wouldn’t wish this on anybody! I have no idea how I got it, but I’m happy to be on the road to recovery. Looking forward to making your blocks again.
Janice, the gallery looks great.

Good morning and I do mean good. After hours of fiddling with the iPhone, all of a sudden 18 emails came flooding in. It’s back up and working. Thank goodness.
Ernie just got up to go potty. He probably smelled a crockpot stew I started at 6 am and hoped he’d get some. He gave up and headed back to bed with DH. Mercenary fellow.
Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning from windy Minnesota, it is a glourious fall day here
WMUT 3 more lovely blocks, thank you for my sweet block
Sewbiz is this a temporary problem that medication will take care of? My youngest daughter has ulcerative colitis.
We have tentative plans with friends later this afternoon after church. One of the couples from the lake are closing up their camper and heading to their winter home in Florida. The six of us usually get together for Chinese take out and cards for their last night here. A fun send off for them
Funny I am usually the one wanting to rush around and hit the road for Texas ASAP. This year it’s hubby, I think he is ready to put this summer behind him and is hoping the winter will be better for me. It’s the little things that are so special right now, realizing I’m humming as I vacuum, smiling at dumb jokes, taking walks and just plain enjoying life. Definite great signs

I finished this one for SBG last evening but the could not get the photo to send. Tried again from home this time and Ta-Da! Here it is.
The fall retreat is over and was mildly successful.
Of course, I did not get all of the Boom blocks finished but, I made good progress forward and made progress on several other projects. Let's just think of it as I left some things undone so I had something to do this week. Tee-Hee-Hee.
I did walk leave the retreat with a quilt kit that some one did not want. Yes the directions are minimal but the colors match my living room perfectly. Now I need to squeeze it into the line up for finishing this year. (fingers crossed).

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone. It feels so great to be free from that hospital bed! Love resting at home.
WMUT, I love my block! Thank you. My quilt is going to be so cute! Sounds like you really enjoyed the retreat! I’m sure you’ll have no trouble figuring out that quilt kit. What a great find!
Janice, what a fun thing you are doing, with the patterns. Thank you for sharing.

Good morning! What a nice soft morning it is here. Ernie is up but DH is sleeping in. It’s quiet.
Lstew, beautiful blocks, especially mine! I’m so pleased with how these are turning out.
Anyone who hasn’t checked their email for something from me, please do. SBG, sharing our friend’s patterns is exactly what her family wants so I’m pleased if the Roses find something they like. Almost half have found new homes.
SBG, I’m pleased you are getting along better at home than in the hospital. Keep resting. And Terriamn, you sound so cheery! The humming is a great sign. It’s been a rough summer for you and hubby. I hope the autumn and the trip down south brings you more happiness.
I’m off to run a seam around a small quilt I quilted yesterday and machine stitch a binding. It’s a candy squares quilt and I straight line quilted it. Well, straight line might be an exaggeration. Let’s just say the lines are “organic” rather than wavy. Yes, organic will do. It’s a little quilt for Ernie as he claimed it when it was on the floor for a minute. He likes the organic look! lol.
Have a good day.
