    Default Touchdown!

Finished my 2nd. This is for RedGarnet's charity auction. Her charity helps kids with diabetes learn to care for
themselves. I did not think it woukld turn out like this, but I love it. Fortunately, Red's quilting will compensate
    for a few weird seams.

And here is a little variation Judy suggested. I now have a nice cover on my sewing-chair-pillow.

Judy thank you for another awesome mystery I loved the ride and the results!!!! I vote for another scrappy too

    Dotty
love both of them great job boy you are fast they both look amazing!

Gayle's Quilts I love yours too the stars sure sparkle against those reds!

Here is my version....little story behind using the same color for the sashing these were already cut to 12.5" was going to sash my BH mystery quilt differently so these were ready to go so just went with it and used a orange batik for the stars. I love it not sure I want to give it to the guild as a charity quilt but probably will as I have enough already.

Judy, Thanks so much for the great mystery. I am working on the sashings and stars and will be ready for the next train ride. I really appreciate your spending so much time doing the mysteries for us.
Frustratedquilter40, I love how you completed the stars on the last border.

all the quilts look so fantastic and so different. you really outdid yourselves this time on the quilts. very pretty. we have about 3 weeks to finish this up b4 the next one starts. I think i'll opt out for the 6 center stars.

how big did everyone's quilts come out to be?

Mine ended up being approx 48.5" x 62.5" with adding a 2nd border using 2.5" strips so I could finish the stars. Not sure if I will add an additional border.
