It is gorgeous. i love the way you framed it.

Paper piecing is time consuming but your results were well worth it.

I just counted the easiest and there are 64 pieces and I know each piece has to be stitched on each side. All the others have so much more. I think I will enlarge 500% and learn that way or maybe they will go to future projects. Yours is so great, I don't know if I am ready.
Don't be scared! You are right to enlarge it though.
Just take it a piece at a time, just like other quilting.
Remember, the rule! " the first piece that goes down is face up", the one you sew to it, and the others you sew to that, are all face down, folding each of them open and trimming, and sewing the next one.
    64 pieces sounds like a lot , but it is only 8 x 8 !

I was lucky enough to recieve a doll quilt featuring that (or a shockingly similar) design as the center (about the middle of the page shown here http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-79595-21.htm#2326603) from Ilove2quilt! I look at it every day (it is in my bedroom, right above the light switch and I still marvel at how much work must have gone into it! If your sis is anything like me, she will treasure it!

Your sister is one very lucky girl. This is beautiful!! Paperpiecing all of that took your time but the proof is in the pudding.
