I can relate. I keep bedroom doors closed during the day, but when I ask, "Are you ready to go to bed?" they both run to get there first and to grab their favorite spots. I get whatever is left, which isn't much since they are both around 100 pounds. lol

Love it. I have heard this many times from DD and SIL They have seven cats, all of whom like to share the bed at one time or another. Sometimes all at once leaving little room for the humans.

My youngest DD calls her cat a foot hog. His favorite sleeping place is the middle of the foot of her bed when she is home. When she is gone i sometimes wake up with feet weighted down.

Our's isn't allowed either but if we leave the house for any length of time the evidence is there when we get home, rumpled bedspread. I can just picture him spread-eagle on the bed while we're gone. Now I try to remember to close the bedroom door when we leave but then he probably just gets on the couch. Our first dog was clever. From the outside, looking in the french doors, you could see the back of my husband's recliner. As soon as we put the key in the lock you could see Sam just slide onto the floor.

When we first got our Hunter at 12 weeks he cried pitifully until brought him into bed with us where he snuggled on the pillow and was good as gold. Half way through the night I felt something slowly pushing into my back to move me off the bed. Sure enough, Hunter was on my pillow and had his four legs pushing me out of the bed. Next night he slept in his crate.
