The post office was not very helpful. I would call and leave a message for someone to call almost every day. I never received a phone call.
As a last resort, I wrote to the "resident" at the address where my package was delivered. The people called me Tuesday night. They did not have the box, but did see it across the hall. They told me the other people had moved out. After doing some investigation, they found a delivery slip from the PO. One that says "you have a package at the PO". My name as the sender was on the slip and my cousins name was the addressee. Today, I finally talked to someone at the PO. My package was there and I requested that they send it back to me! :D :D :D :D :D

I'd send those people a Thank You card.
Be sure and send the quilt - return receipt requested. Something that someone has to sign for, so you have a name. I'm so happy that you got it back. I hope you can find out a good address to resend it.
I believe the hearts of 99% of the people are good. Thank heavens theirs was.

Woo Hoo. Good for you for being so diligent in finding your package. God only knows we can't depend on the US Postal service for "customer service"!! I don't know if any of you have noticed how much their prices have gone up lately??!! Ridiculous!!
