you are so lucky.... a few months ago, I went to a little barn, and found a Singer portable, model 99K, a really small one, in the lower part of the case, (but without a top..) in good working condition, for only $6.00 Then a few days ago, coming home from my Dr, stopped at a yard sale, purchased a Singer... don't see any number on it, but whend I opened the entire thing up, the machine said "Craft Mate" on it, with all the other Singer items, book, etc... How much? $15.00 I can't wait to start using it...It has electronic speed control, self threading take up needle, and 17 stitch functions... The man said it belonged to his mother..(and he was about 75 himself..) Oh well.. I'm so happy... but my favorite is still my 319 Singer...(purchased in 1957)
