How about 'Hugs for _____'
This is a perfect name for this quilt. Wish I had thought of it. You did an awsome job accurately cutting and sewing on that border. Beautiful

Part of it reminds me of the insignias you used to see on tall ship sails in swashbuckler movies and the border is kind of exotic/Persian to me.

Something nautical or mariner? Or maybe from Persian poets/poetry?

'Hands across the water'
'Big Blue Sea'
'Briny Deep'

Or maybe something from one of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movies?

I just love the color choices in your quilt! The baby doesn't care what you name it. He will call it "Blankie" or "Woobie" or something like that!

I always mark my quilt before I sandwich. That way my lines are straight and pins don't get in the way. For kid's quilts, I usually do either a grid or chevrons since it will be washed a lot. I have an Omnigrid yardstick that is 1 1/2 inches wide. I lay it corner to corner and then mark on the outside edges. Then I do that on the other side to make an x. Then I build the chevrons by just moving the ruler over and marking again. Very simple and always looks nice.

I see "X"'s and "O"'s. Or something about spinning around. It turned out really cute.
