I agree; I have many kids and grandkids but my 5 yr old tells me all the time that he's watched me sew so much that he knows how to sew; he says trust me; I know. I have 4 old singers and he can't wait until I get the treadle one going because he says that is his machine. He'll be a great quilter one day.

Have you seen the movie the about Dr. Temple Grandin? She has aspergers and is an amazing women. It has been on HBO several times but you can also rent it. It is a very good look at aspergers and your son would probably love to watch it and know that there are wonder people out there with this and they still can do marvelous things!
