no I have not heard about them. Can you give more information on how I can contact them. Once my boys are home, I will have to stop sending these because I will not have anyone to send them to. Unless you personally know someone to except them, you can not send them so I will be looking for ways to keep this up once my boys are home.
I'm not sure where you are located but they are right Newport News on the other side of the James River Bridge. It is a great quilt shop and you couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of people. The owner was approached last Fall from a service member that was home on leave. There is a link on thier web site called service project and it tells all about it and what the women over there have to endure; they are treated so poorly from the people who are supposed to love them. They can be killed by family members and it doesn't matter. The thought is that if they teach these women how to sew (on treadle since there is no electric, the shop has gotten alot of people to donate thier treadle machines to send over there) then they won't be so desparate for money where they may be forced to work against our men and women in order to survive. It such a great cause. Here is the web site: http://www.bellafabricsva.com/...I hope your loved ones return home soon. We are retired Navy and I know how hard it is to have them so far away from you. Take care.

All of the quilts are awesome. The baseball fabric in the first quilt is a clever idea. After all, what is more American than baseball?

What a wonderful heart you have to make these awesome quilts for our brave men and women. Sounds like your son's units must have a quilt on every bed! What a picture of love that must be. Thank your sons for me for their service. And God bless you for your beautiful quilts of love and comfort for our troops!

You are amazing. I am sure that all the soldiers and their families will be eternally grateful for your hard work and and the love that you put into each quilt!

    Hugs
