    Why would you not zig zag around each square again.......does it take a lot longer to quilt it that way? I really like it and was considering doing that. Pat
    Well I have nothing to compare stitching to since this was the first completed quilt I have done.....I just know doing the zig zag stitch around each block and seam was very time consuming....lots of start and stoping....changing directions....maybe that is something that goes with other stitches you do in quilting a quilt....I don't know yet...anyway. I DO however like the way the zig zag stitching turned out.
