You are talented enough to do the echo quilting that most of these get when hand quilted. Who would know when you are through? If you lengthened your stitch a tad on your machine, it would look hand quilted and still traditional.

Or, you could do something else!! :)

You are so in tune with each quilt that crosses your path that I know after you ruminate on this one for a while, it'll speak to you and tell you exactly what it needs. Trust yourself. You have that special gift that makes a quilt sing. Listen to what it tells you.

That is a treasure. I have no answers for you on the quilting however. I think it needs to be a quilt and whatever you do will get it to that state and it will then be more preserved as it is fragile unquilted. So - for me it is do what suits you to do. Thanks for sharing picture and good luck.

I vote for hand quilting. Would the fabric and stitching even stand up to being placed on a frame from long arm? Some of those hand-pieced stitches don't appear to be very strong and are fairly far apart. Of course, you would know best as you have examined the quilt "up close and personal". Do hope you share photos of the finished quilt.

My vote is for hand quilting. Will be waiting pics of the finished quilt and know it will be wonderful.
