This is such a wonderful Fall/Thanksgiving quilt!

I'd love to know how you did the borders? Someone called it 'floating borders"? Very, very nice!

I have the tumbler templates from Missouri Star Quilt Company and I now know one fabric choice/combination I will be using thanks to your inspirational quilt!

The hexagons are made by cutting a 60 degree angel from each side of a 5"x10" piece of fabric. The pieces in the border are the ends that were cut when making the hexagons and sewn together. You have to keep the right and left sides separate and sew together all the right side cuts and all the left side cuts. Take the first piece and turn the second one so they make a rectangle and you just keep putting them together until you get the length you want. Hope this makes sense.
