Nice design, karielt, but a word to the wise as you start on the pattern path. Think about not showing off your designs all over the internet until AFTER your pattern is ready and available for sale. Otherwise, you have no protection from someone seeing it and whipping out their own pattern ahead of you, especially if you have told them how long before yours will be done. It's safer to keep it close (family, a few trusted friends maybe, and your pattern testers) until you're ready to start selling; that way no one can beat you to market or claim you stole their design. Good luck to you and may all your dreams come true.
