it is beautiful i love your colors you have a lot of good options offered here for names but i agree with sunset or autumn something. I think valleyquiltermo was talking about the blue or black diamonds what ever color they are 1 of them has some quilting at it appears to be the only one so i agree i would take that stitching out. it is sure to be noticed at a show. Good Luck with your gorgeous quilt

I had to go back and look at the diamonds again because there is no quilt stitching in any of them. It must be the pattern on the black fabric that you are seeing. It's only noticeable on the closest diamond in the second picture. If you saw the quilt in person, you'd see that pattern is on all of the black fabric.

Well, whatever you name it, the quilt is just gorgeous!!! Am sorry it took so long to get back, but, your quilter did a great job, too. She didn't overquilt it ... overpower what you made. It's really beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

How about Awaking Twilight? To me the mid-night colors are yielding to a morning glory's opening. Very nice workmanship. Congrats.

After much procrastination, the deadline to enter this quilt is fast approaching, and I have to put something in the "Name of Quilt" blank.

Many people have mentioned sunrise or sunset. I looked up the meaning of twilight... "the soft diffused light from the sky when the sun is below the horizon, either from daybreak to sunrise or, more commonly, from sunset to nightfall."

Twilight could refer to either sunrise or sunset... and the colors remind me of the desert so I think the perfect name is Desert Twilight.

Phew... thanks everyone for your input. I never would have come up with that name without you!

Looks like a snowflake with a southwestern flare - How about Desert Snow?
