Super idea it looks great. I just can't seem to get interested in keeping those strips. Now maybe I will change my mind.

It is fun to save the strips... then you find your self looking for certain colours.
I had a girl friend give me some from Australia.
    the minds gets working.

    Enjoy

Way to go! It is a wonderful way to use selvages. That was thinking outside the box. Love the pictires inbetween too. It really looks like a bookshelf.

Love it, what a great idea. This is the first quilt made w/salvages that I not only like but love, and may even consider making one. Thanks for the great idea.

I've seen selvages used for this and that and, to be honest, have usually thought "that would be better with regular fabric" and, consequently, have always tossed my selvages. Now I wish I hadn't. This is truely an original quilt. Makes me want to curl up with a good book. I love the touches with the coffee cup and pictures, etc. Very nice.
