What a great idea to take family buttons & use them in this way so they can be enjoyed.

What a great idea. This quilt is sure to provide hours of fun and become a real treasure. I can just imagine your DGD telling her kids and grandkids the story behind this quilt. Maybe she'll even make a quilt like this to pass on to her descendants.

What a fabulous idea. My Grands love to play with my
button jar. They take home their favorites and keep them in their "Treasure Box". They could pick out the buttons that they want on their quilt. Thank you so much!

I think it's a real treasure! It is a lot of work though.

That is really a cute idea. I love it. And I love the idea of having old button on it. A treasure to pass down from generation to generation.

I love your button quilt. If you don't mind I think I will steal your idea. Is it actually like a comforter? I have a lot of old buttons also and this will be a great way to put them to use.
    thank you for sharing.
