Angelina, I absolutely love, love, love your quilt! You've used my favorite color Teal! I haven't made a log cabin quilt in many years and yours really inspires me to try another one. I especially love the first outer border. Those 'swirls' give it movement that is breathtaking. Beautiful!

The colors you used are great, but as to other colors, just pick a color, then see if you can a good variety of lights and darks and it should look great.
