I'm there with you, little one ... I probably have at least 15 kits, large & small - most are quilts, a few for totes etc
Can't resist them at quilt shows and I've picked up more than a few while traveling
Love the idea of having it all there, ready to start whenever you want ... the problem is just getting that start !! Figure I'll sell whatever I don't make or donate to our guild sale

Zero for me. Funny, last night I was paging through a new catolog from Connecting Threads and saw one I really liked and am considering buying it but thought I still have several projects lined up to do when I finish my current projects, so I'm not sure I will. I like the idea of having them for retirement, but my retirement is still 19 years away....is it too soon to start saving projects for that? LOL

I have one, for the first time. Found this at a yard sale - beautiful colors, nice material, a pattern book with MANY gorgeous patterns. The printed price was $100.95...I got it for $20. Definitely something to look forward to!

I rarely buy kits, but fell in love with an "Autum Leaves" at a quilt show. Spent a year looking for the pattern, found it in a kit and got it.. It will be lovely when I finish.

I have a huge stash of stuff that I love, but when I go to use, has to have fabric purchased to round out the color scheme. I've been getting more kits, and buying fabric that goes together and then put in a bag to keep together - sort of a 'do-it-yourself' kit. So, yes, I think kits are getting to be a good idea!

I own many many kits..... I find a theme quilt (mostly wildlife) and buy it. I find that with the fabric, pattern and storage room its a good way for me to prepare for getting snowed in(which doesn't happen)and retirement. Retirement is a long way off. While working I can purchase a kit or 2 a year and have them ready for when retirement comes and pennies are tight.

    I love kits

I don't have any kits. I like to buy the fabrics I need to make a quilt in the colors that I want.

I used to buy kits all of the time. Now I realize I like scrappy quilts and my stash is quite large, so I am trying not to buy fabric at all and use up what I have, which will take me to my dying day!!!
