If the blue one needs a home, I have a place for it LOL.

Both are lovely. I am sure the gifts will be appreciated.

They are both very nice. I love the green one! What pattern did you use? Also, the blue one "you meant for it to be like that", no mistakes, just being creative. Hope you can tell me the name of the pattern for the green one.

Terrible! Terrible... both of them. I don't think you should give them to anyone - send them to me. I won't tell anyone you made them (nope, I'll tell them I made them <G>)

Seriously, anyone should be proud to have them! Ya did good!

I am so sorry, I haven't a clue what you would call this block. I just wanted the wreaths to form the block and this is what came of it. I thought it was something to do with a wrench from blocks I have seen through the years. But, I can't find one by that name that looks like this.

I just cut (20) five inch charm blocks into a four and a half and then turn, cut in half again to make a two and a half inch width by four and a half length.

Then I cut (50) center and end squares that would become the triangles to be sewn to the corners at two and a half by two and a half inch square. Then I drew a diagonal line on each two and a half square. I use a mechanical pencil so it will be skinny. I then sew to the outside of the line so when it is turned and pressed it is exact to the existing corner. (Note *If you sew the line tilting to the right bottom it will be the wreaths and the pinwheels tilting left.) Lift the triangle and trim the undeeded fabric off to a neat quarter inch seam.

Now lay them all out pleasingly to form the blocks. Here is the part that is kinda tricky. Pick up the center square and the top piece, sew from the aligned edges to the center of the two and a half inch square, stopping a quarter inch from the end of the square. Press seam to the center square. Pick up the next side and sew the whole length, again sew the whole legnth on the third side, and the last strip goes on and is only sewn stopping at a quarter inch of the end. I take that out of the machine and turn the fabric to align it up making the square, finish sewning the block by sewing past the first seam (This will lock the seam from popping open. All seams are pressed to the center. Don't scrub!! Press.

There is the block girls. Now just join them and you will get your tablerunner. I just cut my first border to two and a half by the measurment I got down the center of the length of the tablerunner. Then measure the middle of the runner the short way for the sides cut length border.
I hope this helps.
