Here in central Missouri all the schools were closed and a lot of factories and business. Where I live we had 18-20 inches.

All schools were closed in our area today and again tomorrow. It was pretty before people started moving around in it. ;-)

Well it has been interesting to hear first hand how weather allows us to do our creativity called quilting. Our schools where closed Tuesday and Wednesday.I got the borders cut out for a Sun Bonnet Sue and have my 6 blocks ready to sew down. The other 6 where done my the other grandma. Each SBS represents a month of the year. The calendar quilt is in honor of our 1 year granddaughter. It has to be finished by March 12. So these days have been a God send. I will try to post pictures when finished.

Our schools were going in 2 hours late both Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday at 5:30 am we had -20 degrees at 8:30 when took boys to the bus stop it was -22 degrees and that is not with the wind chill. Yesterday it was -12. Today Friday will feel like a heat wave they are saying we will get 40 above..

Second snow day in a row. That is very unusual for us.

My daughter teaches in Watauga, Texas (near Ft. Worth) and they have been closed since Tuesday. We live in Sugar Land, Texas near Houston and are waiting to hear if we'll be closed tomorrow. This is very unusual for Texas!
