    I do binding in colors that will frame the quilt instead of using borders a lot of times. Lay it out and try different sizes and colors. Do think the red will set it off though.

    I am going to be different. I would put on a little black or navy border (whatever color the little corner blocks are) then a larger red border. I think that the little touch would make the center pop.

    I think a narrow black border would really set it off, maybe even black and white stripes on the diagonal for the binding or red and white stripes. You don't have to have it if you don't want it, it is really cute the way it is.

    I agree with some of the others, I think a 2 inch border in red, white or green would frame the quilt nicely. :-D That said it is your quilt so do what pleases you :lol:
