Glad I tried this one > I think it would be fabulous in lots of colors. This swap has been lots of fun and learning - THANKS, COLLETTA!!! :P :P
I teach computer in an elementary school and would totally love this block......... if the quilt were for me....... It's for my daughter, but I'm sure she would appreciate it since she has me for a mom and a four year old son! :)

I sewed one side of the flying geese on all the rectangles and when I went to do the other side I found that two of the rectangles were 6" instead of 6 1/2"!!! What is wrong with me!!! No wonder I haven't sewn all week. Now I have to re-do two of them.
When I start doing things like that -- I turn off my machine and open a bottle of wine and drink (don't bother with a glass). And then start over tomorrow
My kinda girl! :!:

Already playing with layouts for the quilt. I have little HSTs cut off from the flying geese in my blocks that I sewed together into 96 squares and pressed last night. This is one way I could use them though I will need more of them. This layout would be about 62" x 80".

If I do another set this could all change.
