Are you kidding me, I looked at it and it looks just like mine which is in pristine condition. I have friends who have bought machines for $400 to $600 and I thought the last price was way too much. This guy is dreaming if he thinks that machine is worth that much. Good grief!!! Jan

I noticed that too! Rare, but not made for this machine!
Maybe the hinges are made of solid gold???

Will be interesting to see if anyone actually purchases it at that price

If you look at the seller's other items for sale, it looks like he specializes in dissecting sewing machines for a business. Maybe this is the only one he has in one piece!!!

Well, the case looks better than mine, the machine about the same. It came with all the feet shown, I had to buy a copy of the manual (it cost me 12.00 if I remember right). DH got the machine at a thrift store for 5.00, yup, 5.00. works great.

My FW looks as good as the one on ebay, has the same case with original foot, book, attachments, etc. Paid a lot less than that and found 1/4" foot for $16.00 at a booth at the show in KY.

Maybe it is first one off assembly line? Does any one have the modern day feather weight?
