I know we used to be able to edit the titles of our posts, but the post I made earlier about my big fat mouth, there is no option to change my title, or even edit my post...why is that?

I think you still can...I just edited two of my titles a few seconds ago...but I did it from My Topics...right at the left edge you have the option to edit title...

Nope, It doesn't give me the option to edit, or even to add attachments or anything. I have that option on this post, but not on the one I made this morning. I was really hoping to change the title :(

You only have 20 minutes to edit the contents of a post (except for photos). That's how long the "edit" button underneath the post remains.

Not sure how long you have to edit the title. When I had a sale on Wednesday, I was able to update the title as things sold. It might be different in the Classifieds section.

I think that is kind of unfair, but I guess I have to live with it.

When I first joined, apparently there had been a big blowup where some people got angry and edited all their posts so they were blank. It made reading a thread very confusing. So as not to have that problem happen again, the board owners decided to limit the time in which a writer could edit a post to 20 minutes. I'm really glad they did! The board is much more fun to read now.

I'm not worried about changing the post, I just want to re-do the title to make it more appropriate for the content....I understand why they do it...
