Is it only me, or does anyone else get re-directed to another completely difference website (mywebface.com) when clicking on a link to a QB discussion topic? It happens at least 40-50% of the time when I click on a new topic to explore and it drives me nuts! Even clicking the back button doesn't always get me back QB - it flashes briefly on the title of the topic and then that other website appears again. Is this built into the Quilting Board site as some sort of revenue enhancer? It only happens when I am on the QB site. I'd love to know if others are having similar problems. It really detracts from having a good experience on the Quilting Board and frequently I reluctantly just close out of QB.

Sounds like this is a quirk of my computer. Yes, I have updated virus and spyware software, but I'm thinking it might have to do with my web browser. Maybe I'll try using Firefox or Chrome and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for your responses, and I'm glad you all can enjoy QB without such annoying interruptions!

Yip - Jade beat me to it -- clean out the history and the temporary files. Go to CONTROL PANEL and look into the INTERNET OPTIONS.....read the first "page" and you'll see what to do.

It happens to me sometimes, but not when I am on the QB. It is really annoying and I often have to shut down the Web to get rid of it. If you figure out why it is happening please let me know so I can fix it. I don't think it is a virus because my security program pops up when it detects a problem.
