    I saw JoAnn's quilt that she made, and just loved the center section of the block. I asked her if I could use it for a NICU quilt. She agreed, so here it is!

    I just love this block. Thank you JoAnn for the inspiration.

    I do 24 x 24. I stick with the blocks being 3.5 square. That seems to be a good size. Most of them are 7 blocks square, but the one I did from JoAnn's is 8 square because of the star in the middle.

    As the mother of a twin boy who spent time in the NICU, thanks for your work, and I know the ones who receive the quilts will appreciate what you're doing.
