Wedding quilt saga....part 3....
#1
Well, the past few weeks, I have moved along pretty slowly....needed a break, so I made a baby quilt, several pillowcases and a new purse!
I have finished the four corner blocks, gotten instructions on 60 degree rectangles, and made 120 flying geese....only have about 200 more to go! I am squaring up those geese and have to make several units from them, finish some work on the center block, then I can sew the center of the quilt together and work on the setting pieces!
the kids informed me that it looks like they will get married March 15th of 2012, AND the other kids decided on June 16, 2012...so I am going to have to corner them on quilt stuff soon!
Here's a link that shows the other blocks so far.

I love this quilt so far. The batiks you chose are so beautiful and classy looking. It also looks like the blocks put together will form a stunning secondary pattern.
I missed your other installments about this so didn't know the background story from parts 1 and 2 so I had to go back and look. The finished quilt is STUNNING!! And the blocks you have done so far are just gorgeous. Now I see these are the blocks for the corners.
The pattern for this quilt is sooooo tempting.
