Here are two I finished up right before Thanksgiving. My aunt lives in Las Vegas. She is 76 and "Puckish". She LOVES coffee and when I saw this material I immediately thought of her. There are two different prints (mugs on one and pots on the other-red and black of both). The pale yellow has coffee beans on it. I also made pillow cases to match (Especially, after I received a call that she did NOT have any that matched). The second is of a "Scrap" quilt. All of the 4-patch sections were made from leftover pieces from other quilts that had the alternating 4-patch/solid square design. Those were made by my friend's mother and Lucky me! I get all of her scraps. She threatened to take the next one I make from what she gives me. :P

These are absolutely stunning! Is the backing of the coffee quilt also pieced? It's gorgeous!

No kidding you deserve to keep the next quilt you make from your friend's mother's scraps. You make really good quilts and should benefit, too, imho.

(If I send you all my scraps, will you send me a finished quilt in return?)

Way to go.
Love the backing of the first quilt also!
Scraps are a wonderful way of making a memory.
Enjoy!
