Chapel Window wall hanging

This is something I made for our school's benefit auction next month. I had fun working with black for the 1st time, and seeing the variegated treads pop out on the border. I handquilted around the blocks with black on black. I created a sun design on the center of it, then bobbin painted Ricky Tim's Razzle Dazzle thread on the design to make it stand out, because the original thread got lost.

Question - when people make quilts for charity auctions do they set a minimum bid?[/quote]
I haven't, but this is only my 2nd wallhanging to donate, and anything that comes in is beneficial for the school. Some do not bring enough to make it worthwhile for the quilters, and that may dissaude them from donating something another time, which is sad.
